Itinerary

* Experience one of the most thrilling flights as you descend into Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. On a clear day, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the entire Himalayan region. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to Phuentsholing. After checking into your hotel, enjoy an evening stroll through the local markets and along the main street. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing or Jaigaon

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before proceeding with the immigration permit process. Then, embark on an enchanting journey to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The route offers scenic views of majestic mountains and cascading waterfalls. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check into your hotel. Spend the night in Thimphu, immersing yourself in the charm of this beautiful city.

* Start your day with a delicious breakfast before processing the special permit for Punakha. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). A short drive from Thimphu city center, this spot offers a spectacular view of the Thimphu valley. Here, you can pay your respects and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in Bhutan, and take a leisurely walk to enjoy the serene landscape. * Next, visit the King's Memorial Chorten. This significant landmark, continuously circumambulated by devotees murmuring mantras and spinning prayer wheels, was envisioned by Bhutan's third king. His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, as a monument to world peace and prosperity. Completed in 1974 after his untimely death, it stands as a tribute to the Late King and a beacon of peace. * Proceed to the Takin Preserve to see Bhutan's national animal, the Takin, a unique creature tha resembles a cross between a cow and a goat. Continue to "Simply Bhutan," an interactive museum that showcases Bhutanese culture and traditions. Enjoy a warm welcome with butter tea, sample rice wine, and watch traditional .

* After breakfast, begin your journey to Punakha, crossing the scenic Dochu La Pass. At an e'evation of 3,088 meters (10,130 feet), Dochu La Pass is adorned with chortens, mani walls, and prayer flags, marking this highest point on the road. On a clear day, the pass offers a breathtaking view of the following peaks from left to right: Masagang (7,158 meters), Tsendagang (6,960 meters), Terigang (7,060 meters). Jejegangphugang (7,158 meters), Kangphugang (7,170 meters). Zongphugang (7,060 meters). and the highest peak in Bhutan, Gangkar Puensum (7,497 meters). Upon arrival in Punakha, visit the Punakha Dzong, also known as the Palace of Great Happiness. Built in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, this majestic dzong is located at the confluence of the Phochu and Mochu rivers. It once served as the religious and administrative center of Bhutan. The dzong, measuring approximately 600 by 240 feet, features a six-story gold-domed tower, courtyards, and religious statues, reflecting the rich history and spiritual heritage of the region. * Next, visit the Punakha Suspension Bridge, followed by a visit to Chimi Lhakhang. famously known as the Temple of Fertility. كما in the afternoon, drive to Paro. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Paro.

* After breakfast, embark on an exhilarating excursion to Taktshang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest. This journey involves an approximate 5-hour round-trip walk. The monastery, one of Bhutan's most famous, is perched on the side of a cliff, 900 meters above the Paro valley floor. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated, giving the monastery its name. Recognized as a sacred site, it was visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and remains a pilgrimage site for Bhutanese .

After breakfast, depart for Phuentsholing, with stops at key sightseeing spots along the way. First, visit Ta Dzong, originally built as a watchtower and now housing the National Museum. This museum boasts an extensive collection of antique thangka paintings, textiles, weapons and armor, household objects, and a rich assortment of natural and historic artifacts. Next, walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, which translates to "fortress of the heap of jewels." This dzong has a rich and fascinating history. The wooden galleries lining the inner courtyard are adorned with intricate wall paintings illustrating Buddhist lore, including the four friends, the old man of long life, the wheel of life, scenes from the life of Milarepa, Mount Sumeru, and other cosmic mandalas. * Upon arrival in Phuentsholing/Jaigaon, check into your hotel. The evening is free for shopping and leisure. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing/Jaigaon.
